Drake ‘SHADES’ Rihanna onstage and fans aren’t happy – ‘This type of petty is crazy’ | HO

Drake has just kicked off his It’s All A Blur – Big As The What? Tour with J Cole, but it was Rihanna who had fans talking on the opening night as the Marvins Room rapper seemingly shaded his ‘ex’ with one comment that had the internet going wild.

The music stars are rumored to have had an on-off romance starting around 2009, but obviously, things didn’t work out as Rihanna now has two sons with A$AP Rocky. For as long as we can remember, memes have been going around about Drake being ‘salty’ because he ‘fumbled’ the Umbrella singer, and fans think he may have confirmed his feelings on opening night.

Drake took to Tampa Florida for his opening night, and fans were excited to hear all the hits. Unfortunately, that didn’t include his 2016 hit with RiRi, Work as he told the crowd he no longer performs it anymore.

Whilst floating in a white box above the stage, the song started playing, as Rihanna’s voice (on tape) could be heard singing the word “work” repeatedly. However, the 37-year-old wasn’t having any of it as he exclaimed to the crowd: “I don’t sing this song anymore, you can sing it for me.”

But, it looks like Drake may not have got the reception he wanted, if social media is anything to go by, as he was criticized by fans on X, formerly known as Twitter, for being ‘salty’.

“Why’s he moving shady?.. just bc Rihanna didn’t want him lol,” wrote one.

One disappointed fan tweeted: “He added this to the set list just to make this announcement as if we care.”

“This type of petty is crazyyy!” exclaimed a third.

“Isn’t this man like 40? Why does he behave like this??” questioned another.

Although, others were here for the drama, as one said: “He’s such a messy girl. I’m here for the mess.”

Fans were also questioning the rapper’s outfit choice

It didn’t look like the best night for Drake, as some fans were questioning his ‘strange’ outfit choice as he took to the stage.

The dad of one shocked fans as he came out wearing a white outfit containing a ‘dinosaur spine’ at the back.

He later hinted that the outfit was designed by Japanese artist Shimoda Masakatsu, who posted a pic on the ‘gram, but unfortunately, fans were less than impressed. Many were even comparing the singer to Mario character, Bowser.

“Yall don’t understand how ridiculous this looked in person. He looked like Bowser,” said one concertgoer.

“Can somebody please explain to me what is the motive for this type of attire?” another questioned.
